Join here if your maxima has suffered a busted Y pipe flex section for an aftermarket Y. Please list how it got busted, how many times it got busted, and what brand, and how you fixed it. Also what kinda car, year, transmission, miles etc on the car.

Also next up is the Busted 5 speed transmissions club. Please state what has failed, what was dont to correct and how much that cost.

Sorry Eric, I prototyped a Cattman Y w/ a crappy flex 2 years ago. IMHO, I think the flex sections that are used are too short. I note that the oem Nissan flexs are longer and last much/much longer than the ones offered by the aftermarket Y makers. These guys have to make the flex sections short because of the Y design I guess

 

to be a member of the busted 5 speed club is there an "initiation" where you burnout on pillows and mcdonalds trays and generally bust your own transmission?
