Continental Sport Contact Tires?
#1
Has any one used Conti. Sport Contact tires? I have been investigating tire weights and this tire in a 225/50-16 only weighs 21.7lbs and costs $155.
Comparable tire's that comparable so far are...
Yokohama's AVS Sport +3lbs, =$$$
BFG's Comp TA KDW +3.8lbs, =$$$
Bidgestone S02PP +2.3lbs, =$$$
Dunlop 9K +1.7 lbs, =$$$
Goodyear Eagle F1GSD2 +1.2 =$$$
Michelin Pilot Sport +0.5lbs too much $$$
Waiting on Pirelli's info... But P-zeros are =$$$
I have been a Yokahama fan for a while but theier tires are way too heavy. I have had P-zeros, they rock, but have dont last. Had some Dunlop D40's are ok but not too stickey.
Any coments tire heads?

They come standard on some BMW's so I'll bet the http://www.bimmer.org guys know more than we do. for $155 though, that's a LOT of money.
I'd look into AVSdb's, S02-PP's or AVS sport's instead. From what I've seen at autocrosses, the S02-PP is the way to go...
