Got caught in Mississippi doing 98mph in a 70mph zone two week's ago.Called yesterday and was told that the ticket would be $108.I had to ask the clerk to repeat herself again. With fee's like these i might move over there.

I graduated from Biloxi HS and i lived sown there for a while. My first ticket in '96 was for 82 in a 65..........$85. all the tickets that i have ever gotten down on the coast have been cheap, compared to tickets i have gotten in Jacksonville, FL /PCB, FL / and up here in Louisville, KY. One thing i have noticed is, it is harder to talk the officer outta getting that ticket or reducing the ticket in MS, than it is everywhere else.

This is just my experience with MSHP or Metro

My first ticket in Cali was 59 in a 25 and it was only $100. . . But I was 17 and I think that had something to do with it.

You guys have it EASY! I got stopped for 83 in a 55 in CT and my fine was $276! Thankfully, I got the thing reduced to half in court.

The same fine in NY was $100... and that was AFTER more fees were added for "late fees."

I guess my fine wasn't as bad as I thought...

100 in a 60mph zone, 255$
And my recent ticket...
78 in a 60mph zone, 145$

Both on the outskirts of Dallas.

Think that's bad? Heh... here's a story for ya...

Was driving down Westhemier in Houston, had to make a left turn at the light that was coming up so I sped up a bit to pass the car in the left lane so I could get into the turn lane, increased no more than about 10-15 miles of the speed limit JUST to pass the guy, and I got arrested and had to spend the night in jail for vehicular racing.

Morale of this story - DON'T SPEED ON WESTHEMEIR IN HOUSTON, YOU WILL GET A$$ RAPED - no not literally

I just talked to my mom and she just got a ticket for $87. The cop told her he clocked her at 82mph (65 zone I think) and wrote her up at 80mph. She got lucky because she told me she was really doing almost 90!

tickets

I have paid around $900 in speeding tickets in my life, and about $1350 total. I am 19. Only 2 tickets with my maxima so far in 8 months, both out of state.

My 90 in a 65 was only $135 and I was allowed traffic school. . .I guess in Cali on the HWY you are allowed 29 or less before having traffic school yanked.
