2 long flashes, 1 short, 7 long, 1 short

Can't find either on Steve Cutchen's list. I assume it can flash out 2 errors one after the other.

Last week I changed plugs and forgot to connect two of the coils before starting up. Turned it off immediately upon seeing the MIL flash and feeling the idle. Corrected the problem and light stayed lit but not flashing. Been driving for a while and still hasn't gone out.

Any thoughts?

 

I don't know what the codes mean but are you sure you followed the procedure for clearing them after reading them out?

Other people here should know better than me about going into diagnostic mode and such.

I was going to say to check Steve's FAQ, but aside from that I can't help you.... sorry. Try to find someone with a CONSULT or with an OBD-II datalogger....
