New Wheels and already...

my chromies have been stolen. What the *$#^! I went to the mall tonight with my new rims on and already my chromies have been stolen off of my car. This has happened to me everytime I get new rims. They were on there pretty tight too... What do you guys do? Do you usually take them off or do you guys have a way to keep them on?

I am so fed up with them getting stolen...

I really think that matters where you live. Although I live in an urban setting, I could literally leave my car unlocked and windows down in some parts of the city. In others I have to check my car every 5 seconds to make sure it's not getting jacked. At a mall it all depends on where you park. If you park far out, nobody will park near you so you don't have to worry about dings, but on the other hand it is much easier for somebody to steal something as there is nobody around. I always try to get the closest spot I can with a curb on one side so the chances of a ding are cut in half. Still happens though, and I would rather have my tire caps stolen than a dent.
