Enkie and Kumho Question

I am thinking of getting Enkei CDR9's 17x7 with Kumho Ecsta 711's on them (225-45). Do you guys know much about this tire?? Durability? And do I need anything else to install them on my 4th gen. I've read somewhere about hubcentric rings or something. THey are 40mm offet.
Thanks

Re: Enkie and Kumho Question

I had Kuhmos and they felt great in the rain.....i had no issues with them. They might be a lil' louder (road noise), but I think all 17"-19" tires are a lil' louder.

Never heard about the 711's until now. I just recently got Kumho Ecsta712's, $100 each, 225/45-17, 260 treadwear. Although they are new, I think they are absolutely great. They look nice, and handle extremely well on dry AND wet. Coming from stock 15", I was surprised the ride was not any harsher either.

Glad I went with Tirerack and got them installed locally because the selection here in town really stinks. And what they do have at NTB et al. they charge anywhere from $30-50 more PER TIRE!
