It's just the part that sits on the engine block.

Not going to delete it.

Only because trust me, there are other people out there that were asking the same thing and you were the only one brave enough to ask it.

I just wish there was another way to get one...

That's a mod I could definitely use, and since it's a factory part, there wouldn't be a lot of problems with it. Anybody know of a reliable person that might be selling them?

Re: I just wish there was another way to get one...

More like THE mod for any 95-99 Maxima. A Nissan part, so you know it fits and works, giving our Maxima a variable intake manifold. Just add a 2000 muffler on it and you've got 95% of what the 2000 Max has, in a smaller, lighter, and IMHO a better looking body.

There are several threads running now. Search for Middle East VI, ME VI, and posts by Ians,Finality and MrCranman

That is if this works as good on a NA car as it did on one running boost.

I'm selling them.

You can ask anyone on this board about my reliability in matters such as this.

I am waiting for the first 2 (one for myself and one for speedtrip, who donated cash) to show up. They should be here early next week.

I will then Dyno it and show hp gains and then sell them for about $540-$570 shipped to you. The price may go down depending on what kind of shipping deals I can get.

Remember, however, you have to buy a vacuum control system to make it work. RPM Switch, Baro Switch, and vacuum hoses as well as a vacuum canister. Should cost no more than another $100.

I will do a full write up of the entire installation after I install mine.

Here is a diagram for reference (it's a diagram of the 2.5L version, but is basically the same)
