Nissan vs Chev
it's 12:15am. My 93 SE just saved my life. How? well, i was driving home from my girlfriends house, just listening to my tunes, when this huge *** Chevy 3500 7.4L turbo and a ram 3/4 ton start riding my ***. the guy in the chevy can't seem to keep it within the lines. (i presume he was drunk) i got stuck next to him at a light and he almost clipped my mirror off when he stopped. after being behind him for a mile before that, i knew i didn't want to be there when he accidentally came into my lane, so when it changed to green, i eased out the clutch and ran it to 5000 for 1st and 2nd. this must have really pissed off our drunk hick friend because i heard him floor it from 5 car lengths ahead of him. i'm getting a little scared by now, because i've seen how much a big truck can --ck up a little car. dropped back into second and went through 2, 3, and 4... but he's still coming and i'm going 90 in a 45. i floored it again and blew a red light at 115 (shouldn't have done that) at which point he dropped back. kept going for another mile so i couldn't even see his lights in my mirrors. took the right curving ramp onto the highway, and when i was crossing over that street, i saw him going straight, about 75 but driving on the right hand shoulder. all i have to say is thank god for my max, and i'm sure glad i didn't get the 98 cavalier like my mom wanted. Yuk.

eventhough this guy was following you...you still have or had the chance to ease the situation by turning or pulling over...you just put yourself at high risk by bringing your speeds the high...you became a danger on the road just as he was...thats all im trying to say...
i realize it was a risk. given the chance to repeat it, i would have chosen to loose them on side streets at a MUCH lower speed. being the situation that it was, i really doubt they would have just gone straight if i turned off. think they were import haters (seems to be alot of that here) you never know what an intoxicated person is capable of, much less 3 of them. I'm getting a cell in a week or so, and next time, i'll let the police handle it.
