mods and all. or would you strip it out then sell it. i have a 97 gxe with no factory options so i figure blue book is about 5 or 6grand. i would try to cut it loose for about 7 or 8 with everything. you can never really get back what you put into a car so your always at a loss.
I'm in the process of selling all my mods and then the car itself. 5 or 6 grand for a 97 GXE is too low. Trade-in is about $7K.
I think you'll be better off selling your mods separately.

I wish I could sell my car now. I doubt I will the car with mods, don't think anyone would be too interested in an automagic Maxima with bolt ons especially a Maxima enthusiast. I think it's better if I take the mods off and sell them separately. Then sell the car to the general public. I have calculated how much my car is worth, not much, about $8-10k. I have a '96 SE with all the option except heated seats and about 50k miles, even though the gauge cluster says 56k miles because I bought that used cluster when I broke my original one. I could sell this car at anytime, but still don't have enough dough to buy another car.

I have a 97 SE 5-speed with 53K miles on it. Spend probably $4,000 on mods with the complete stereo, Wilwood, suspension, SSR Integrals, and exhaust. I'd sell my car for $15,000 but the blue book value is only $10K. So that's why I don't think I can sell my car. It's worth far more to me than it is to the set valued price. I'm going to hang onto my car for awhile and see what I can do in the furture...motor swap hopefully.

with all the mods I have done to my max including the V2 which will go in soon I would probably ask around 12 or 13 for my 96 SE, but I probably wouldnt get that much. Check out my max on my homepage, those pics were taken about 8 months ago. But I have gotten an offer for 13K so I dont know....

I would probably take all the mods off my car before I sell it. It's a '97 Fully Loaded SE w/ ABS, Leather, Bose, Heated Seats, and 58K miles. I would hope I could get $12,500 for it.

The local Nissan Dealership offered me $13k for mine, but jacked the price of the new car up 2k.
So mine's apparently worth 11k on a trade-in with my rims and mods and stereo.
I could probably get 13 or 14k on private sale with all my mods and stereo.
Without mods, probably 10k for trade-in, 11k for private sale.
1997 GXE with C&C, sunroof, fogs, aftermarket alarm and mods.
