Let's see...

$236 a month... times 12... that's... $2832... a year....

22 years old... but only one ticket for running a red light.

Live in NYC and got mine through Progressive, which was the only company that would take me.

Insurance

I'm a 23 y/o male...so i'm screwed right now.
(cant wait to get married next yr so it'll drop)

I pay $2100 a year through Liberty Mutual (cheapest around).
That's just for my 2000 Maxima. Oh...i have no points.

My truck (1991 Explorer) is insured under my fiancee.
She's 25 y/o...
We only pay $500 a year for the truck.
Wish i could put my Maxima under her too...

PS: New Jersey SUCKS! Why is EVERYTHING so damn expensive?!

21 years old no tickets "on my record"

And I pay about $750 a year for my insurance. This is full coverage with(here is that catch)$1000 deductible on collision and $250 on comprehensive. But I think I have saved at least $1250 doing it that way so if needed I can afford to pay it if the time comes for me to have a bad day. Knock on Wood for all of the above.....

That is on a 92 not my 99! If full coverage on my 99 for me would cost a tick under 5g's. Well figure, i have 17 points on insurance adn 11 on license now and its still not dropping. About $3100 per year in NJ. For the cars in my sig with full coverage including collision for me (34) and my wife (er, older than 34). I've got a slew of tickets but only about 6 points show on my record for insurance purposes. It pays to fight the tickets to get them reduced.

Been quoted around $3k/year from Mercury, $4k~6k per year from Amica, AAA, Allstate and others. This is for full coverage + $500 deductible, dropping to liability only saved less than 20% if memory is correct. This is also before my at-fault fenderbender this past September with my current baby (the red thing in my sig...)... so I don't know if my rates will be going up or not.

yo

$660 a year for full comp, collision, and state-limit liability. 31 years old, one speeding ticket in last 5 years. No accidents.

See, I told you it's worth it to hire a lawyer when you get a ticket.

I also pay an additional $30 a year for another $1.5MM in personal liability insurance, which covers me for liability in many situations ... much beyond (but including) the car. If you hit a minivan with two kids in it, that state-limit liability won't get you far.

Later,
/aac

For me (24) and wife (22)

We pay ~$1400. I've got a clean record, the wife has an accident on hers, that is supposed to disappear in January, then I turn 25 in march, so it should drop nicely. Oh ya, $500 deductable, full coverage.

Good timing- I just got my policy for the next six months today. $1428 for the year, 22 year old male (favorite customer of the insurance companies), in eastern PA. What I got a kick out of was seeing how much I was saving with assorted discounts. $50 for the anti-theft and airbags, $140 for having auto+renter insurance, and $200 for being a good student. For once, school actually saved me some money.

I am with GEICO with all sorts of discounts.

all I can say is that I am paying way more than I should because of the geographic location.

uninsured motorist 50/100
with farmers insurance...in IN state...with bunch of discounts like good student (GPA > 3.0), renter's insurance (for my rented apt)...soon might go lower cos gf getting a car and would make her put the car under my address so I get more discounts...like second car in household.

for 23 male and about 4 city ordiance tickets (speeding tickets...with points bought back from PD)
