Brake Conversion?

i am doing the 300zx brake conversion on my 99 max. i have the 4 piston calipers and need to know which rotors you guys are uses. the max or the 300zx rotors. also, does the caliper need to be shaved down or the rotors. any help would be appreciated. email me with info if possible. furbiss112@aol.com later.

The only person that I know who did the 300Z brake conversion is Y2KevSE but he did it on his 2K Max. If anyone could help you, it's probably him. Try to PM him.

you can use Brembo Blanks!

Turbo95Max did it too

You need 300Z rotors. You need to shave the rotors down 3 or 5mm(I forget). You also need to grind down the steering knuckle a little bit so it doesn't rub against the rotor when turning.

yup thats the recipe a real pain! I'd recommend going with a real upgrade like the Wilwoods or something

Kev do you know anywhere where i can get the Master Brake Cyl for a 1990-1992 3Z twin turbo? CHEAP? (I think thats the one that should fit) I want more brakes from my APs

Malik, lemme know if that works... I've been thinking the same thing... our MC is 15/16" already... are the TT at least 1"?

Furbiss112, if you already have the Z calipers... check out the 3000GT rotor kit using 'search'

where can i get more info on the 3000gt upgrade. i want to be able to use cross drilled rotors.
