Rotors? To resurface or get new? Oem or aftermarket?

Ok my breaks squeak when I'm not even applying any pressure to them. Its not a constant screech but like every half a turn of the wheel. I've come to the conclusion that it has to be the rotor as the pads are new and everything else seems ok. Now my question is, to resurface or not? Autozone has cheap rotors for 27 bucks each, so I'd rather just get 2 of those than mess with resurfacing old ones. How much worse can they be than oem? What about those cheap cross drilled rotors, etc, that you see on ebay? are those worth it?

if you don't want any performance gains, go with the autozone set. that is a really cheap price. i love that store, they always have the best prices in my area. if you want a performance increase search around on the web to find a set of brembos( i have read on this board from some members that the cross drilled/slotted rotors on ebay don't offer any performance gains). good luck.

Oops I meant typo... much like this one:

In Webster's New Dictionary
The definition of rice is "white seeds of an eastern plant, used as food".
Not your car or the mods on it.

I cheaped out and bought Autozone rotors. I use them with aggressive aftermarket pads. No complaints with performance but they do rust really easy. Depending on my cash flow I might try slotted rotors next time for track use.

if the brakes are squeelin with no pressure applied,it's also possible u have a sticky piston so if this is the case, be ready to rebuild a caliper.

I too have a set of Brembos which are crossdrilled and slotted, and I love them. They look great and perform great. I'd highly recommend them, even though so many haters say they suck!!!!
