how to i get tar off rims? my front left rim has a whole lotta crap on it, either asphalt/tar or oil. what kind of cleaner is good for aftermarket rims? i normally just use soap but that doesnt work in this case. help!

 

treat your wheels like the finish on the bodywork. use a bug/tar remover, than follow up with a polish/wax. A coat of wax every 3-4 months on the wheels makes cleaning much easier since the dust doesn't get baked in.

 

Don't get the tire one.. there is an ALL PURPOSE one that comes in a Purple jug or something... It can be used for engines, rims, just about anything... i used it for my floormats and it works hella good...
