Maxima vs. Altima

which one is better?? i know that they are made on the same platform what else about them is the same? different?

not the same platform, not the same engine, they both are made by nissan (duh) maximas come with V6 altimas only come with 4cycl (New ones come with optional V6. oh and maximas look better

i thought the altima v6 uses the same engine as the maxima. And isn't the new 2003 or 2004 maxima gonna be based on the altima platform.
And i hate to say this about nissan, but their altima is way over priced.
