My license is suspended, and unfortunately I think I have to sell my car. What do you guys suggest I should do? Should I leave everything in it, or should I strip it and try to sell it then? I have 57k miles on it, what do you think I should ask for it, I will most likely take the system out.

My advice would be to put it back to stock and sell the mods.. if you sell it the way it is you won't get nearly the value of the mods you spent...

okay.. just curious was ur license suspended indef?? or just like 6months? im asking cause it would make more sense to just suspend ur insurance until u get ur liscence back.. but then again thats just my idea.. i wouldn't go thru the whole selling car deal if in under a year ur gonna need to get another one.. just my idea..

 

Well, it's suspended for 1 year, I am still deciding on what to do, my parents are forcing me too sell it. I have a junk I drive right now and the max stands in front of my house, don't know what to do. I am selling the system definitely, except the Alpine screen. For value, I'm guessing around $10-11K depending on what you mean by strip (I assume you mean revert car back to stock). You can check the value at Autotrader.com with the NADA values. Those are rountinely more accurate than Kelly blue book. At least you are doing the smnart thing and not driving on the suspended license b/c if you got caught driving during that time-big problems and possible jail time.
