Passed emissions again with JWT intake-->>
2years ago I passed with these readings:
HC=.02 State standard is .80
CO=.1 State standard is 15.0
NOx= 0.0 State standard is 2.0
CO2=43.1 State Standard is N/A
Here are my results from this week:
HC=.01 State standard is .80
CO=0.0 State standard is 15.0
NOx= 0.0 State standard is 2.0
CO2=40.3 State Standard is N/A
Looks like she's getting better with age#;>)

Unfortunately here in California, even if you pass the sniffer you will fail the visual inspection during the smog check.
I have the JWT unit and hope they don't even check under the hood when I get my smog check done.

While I was in Norcal a few weeks ago
I saw this van setting up some equipement on an entrance ramp to I580. I kinda looked like radar stuff but I think it was some kind of pollution detector since it was only like 2 feet off the ground.. Also the side of the van has kind Pur Air or something like that written on the side. It also looked like it take a pic of the license plate too.
Yeah, California has many different zones for pollution control. Where I live, in the San Francisco/Sacramento Bay Area, it is designated pollution zone 2 or something like that. That means smog tests are twice as tough to pass for people who have vehicles registered in these areas.
Doh..
Doh..
