Need new brakes soon, best kind?
My Max's front rotors are grooved and the pedal isnt the hardest i've felt. I want to put new brakes on before the Michigan winter. I'll probably just get the stock rotors resurfaced, but what should I get for new pads? I have KVR carbon fiber pads with stock rotors on my '84 Celica and they worked great.
Are there metal brake lines for the 3gen Max? What brake fluid do you guys use for ABS systems? And how hard are they to flush and fill? Any added steps for ABS? Can I possibly ask any more questions? ;-)

I have been very happy with my
EBC Green stuff. Not too much dust. Nice pedal feel. Grabby even when cold. They have not faded yet...though I haven't had the chance to really test them hard. (braked nicely from 120). Whatever pads you get, don't judge them when you first put them on the car. Judge them after a week or so.

Ken,
I've got a NEW set of porterfield carbon kevlar pads I need to sell. The same ones as the group deal. The group deal is for both front & rears. If you just want fronts, I need to get $75 for em.
email me if you're interested.
ask around, you'll find out this is THE best pad out there for "street" use. No fade, very low dust, not hard on the rotors, semi-long life.
