Does anybody still buy Cattman coilovers?

I'm wondering. I see all these posts about GC and other stuff these days. I've had an ad in the classified forum for my recently rebuilt Cattman coilovers (new front struts, new springs, upgrade kit) and there has been NO interest, even after posting a notice on the 4th gen forum. I'm a bit surprised, since I'm selling these for about the price of just the new components (and far less than I put into these total) and would consider an offer. Is Cattman's reputation that far gone these days, or has everyone that wants coilovers already bought them?

I think that it's the ground controls. With those as an option, very few people want to spend that much money for Cattman's.

I am personally not very happy with my ground controls, so I'm going to get the first set of Gen III coilovers from Cattman when they are available later this year.

As mentioned by Shadow .. the Ground Controls ... though not the greatest in quality .. are not bad for the price ... I don't think people can justify paying more than 4 times the price for the Cattmans ... plus .. as Shadow mentioned ... Gen III coilovers are coming out this summer .. I just got an e-mail from him this morning about that actually ...

Ciao!

well

Then again, the Cattmans come with shocks and struts that are also adjustable.

And with the GEn II upgrade, the extra inch of travel. Do the Ground Controls have camber plates? Anyway, my setup does have GC Eibach springs in front. If cost is the issue, a used set with low mileage parts should interest somebody, but I haven't had any response.

I'm going with JIC Magic when I can get my hands on a set.

For the amount of engineering that has gone into a set of Catmann's they are over priced by a large margin.

I was supposed to get my JIC coilovers AND bullet exhaust in January but they are totally lagging. The JIC coils are "only" $1500, but if you consider what you are getting, they are a pretty good deal.

I think the cattmans are priced acordily. Over priced, yes in the sence that all other coilovers are too. But they are priced with other real coilovers too. Look at H&R, B&G, Apexi, they match the price of Cattmans thats the price that coilovers are.

On another note; do you know what the diff in the gen 3's will be? Will there be an upgrade for the rear of the gen2's for the 5th gen?
