Does anyone know where I can buy a hood deflector from? I'm sick of seeing new chips of paint missing from my hood and I'm sure this item would significantly lower the amount of paint chips occuring. Does GTS make them? How much do they cost and are they somewhat durable? Anyone with information leading to the sale of this item should contact me ASAP.

Thanks,

five

Hood deflector

I have a GTS one that I bought about 8 months ago and used it for about a week. Just wasn't for me. I payed around $65 for it and ordered it from Pep Boys. I'll part w/it for $20...plus shipping.

Do you have a picture of it on or off your car? What is the condition like? Cracks, holes, scratches I should know about?

thanks,

Re: Hood deflector

Sorry, no pics...although it's in perfect condition. It looked good on my car...just decided I liked the hood bra better.

The only thing you'd need to get are 3 little circles of velcro. That's how it adheres to the top of the hood...I didn't like that part too much, but they didn't leave any marks on the hood.

Other than that, it's tip top.

might wanna look into...

there's some kind of clear guard (i think it might be made by 3m) to go over the front of the hood. IMO it looks alot better than a hood deflector will (it won't look at all actually!!). Check with JimW, I think he has it on his audi.
