How sweet it is.....a stock muffler again

Well after 6 months of the aftermarket rumbling muffler I decided to go back to the stock muffler. THe aftermarket was fine but as many of you know when it is coupled with a Y things can get NOISY I honestly feel more connected to the car now, the intake still keeps things interesting but I like the stealth aspect of the car now. It only makes noise when I am WOT.

I drive 90 miles round trip most of which are in traffic and the resonance and droan was a bit much. For those of you thinking about doing it, you will not be dissapointed. I forgot how quiet the VQ can be.

Re: not noticable

So it would be wise to just forget about getting an aftermarket muffler just for sound if your just gonna get tired of it after a few months?

Hey pat, The muffler is great. At first I thought it was way to loud, but then it either got quieter, or I got used to it. I can't wait till I get my Y-pipe. Thanks again.

The sound is good and when I wanna make some noise I go WOT the intake delivers. I am no longer the guy sitting in traffic the "needs a muffler" I actually had someone tell me that.

I put my stock muffler back on for a month, removing my stillen, and i hated it. I stalled it a few times, slipped the clutch/revved it too high when shifting, all that ish. I put my stillen back on and i can once again drive perfectly...i NEED the noise, i don't look at the gauges much when i drive, i tell by which gear/how loud
