Installed new tires today.

First of all, why didnt I get this size the first time!? When I got my 2k 16" 5 spokes, I ordered a set of Yokohama AVS db 225-55 R16s. The tires were great. They were really quiet and were excellent in weather conditions. I noticed a difference in handling though from stock. I noticed the car didnt feel the same way it used to. I got those last July and its now april and about 40k miles later my tires are BALD!

I reordered the same tires but this time I went with the 225-50 R16 size. They give the car a nice slightly lower stance, and OMG! The handling got sooo much better. The side walls dont roll under around turns anymore. I dont know why I didnt get this size before...(and Steve, yes you told me so )

Now that my tires make my car feel so much better, I can't wait until my RSB comes in. I will also get a FSB as soon as I can find one. Then maybe at some point during the summer I will get my suspension done... I recommend these tires to anyone who is looking for a great performing quiet ride!

Nice. I have 225/40 right now. My next tire will be 235/40, I want wider tire to protect my rims.

Good, I was planning on getting the 2000 rims, and now I know what tire size.
