Clearing out I30 Taillights?

Clearing out I30 Taillights?
Could I clear out the yellow part on a 97 I30 taillight? People do it themselves on maximas, so why couldnt we do it? If some1 has done it please post a pic.

it's been done. it's the same procedure as for the maxima tail lamps.

easier to just buy the clear corners for the i30's than trying to clear them yourself.
