well, actually, i heard about a guy who stripped it down, put an ls1 where his back seat used to be, turboed it, 6 speed manual and abotu 200 shot of NOS - i think he was hitting mid 8's... i think it was down south somewhere, not really sure...

God forsaken L28 bastard engine...... I think that car dynoed a might above 350+/- RWHP if I remeber corretcly!

Oh, and before all you nut riders flame me and Sprint, this car is for real, and has been seen in picture form by many on the 3rd gen board and people I talk to online. Its an 83 Maxima with a L28-T engine in it. His old setup with a T4 turbo ran 11.90 @ 124 mph. His new setup includes a T76 turbo and a 150 shot direct port system. If any of you don't believe this and wanna give him a run, I'm sure he'd be willing to literally smoke you in Florida.

And since I can't seem to edit my posts.. the best time is.. 11.477 @ 117. This is with a 1.93 60' time.

Actually it is.. Its the beater cuz his TTZ runs GReddy TD05 turbos and his turbo LS1 put a piston through the oil pan. I had a video of him launching around somewhere. I'll try to find it and throw it up for all to see..

 

Dang...dude must be rich. All those fast cars. Wow.

 

And it wasn't a anti-carjack kit either....

 

Not too sure on his financial status, but he works hard and knows his ****. His LS1 has a turbo kit he built with his own two hands, and helps out a buncha other people with their projects(such as... me..)..

 

I'm glad they don't make that thing in the states....screw carjackers I'd use it everyday on my commute to school!

Do u guys condsider an engine swap still to be a maxima..i personally dont..but each to there own..One thing moding a maxima but switch what makes it a maxima....
