Extended Warranty Question

I just got a 2k2, and got an extended warranty. Before I get flamed, it's got the 60 day full refund deal, so I figure I'll get it, and let all of you .org guys tell me if it's a bunch of bulls**t or not. It cost 1,100 bucks. Anyhow, let me know please, if I should keep it or no. It is 6 years/75,000 miles Bronze level.

I purchased the ASP warranty as well.

6 years/160,000kms..

I will tell you i will never ever buy a car with out extended warranty..

The price was 1550 for the warranty and an additional 300 for road side assistance for 6 years unlimited mileage.

These are cdn dollars of course.

But i will tell you, thats pretty cheap. Imagine if your 6speed tranny is not holding up as well as previous gen maxima's. Just to repair that is the cost of the warranty..!!!

Its a great deal, and really helps the resale value.. KEEP IT!!

I got it and I used it at 62000KM (37000mi). Fuel level sender. It's not the full 1500$ but it's part of it.

I think it's worth it. It's tough paying for parts when you are still paying for the car!

I paid the car off in cash @ delivery so I'm not worried about payments. Anyone? I just wanted to guage when problems start to occur with the Maxima engine in the 5th gen.
