This pic is NOT the AMG, it is the standard E class with the 235's,not the 275's

Not sure. I haven't gone to a track yet. I'm guessing low 14's off of people I've beat.

I like the stagea. Sorta has the q45 styling. I think it will do well and give volvo a run for its money.

unless they ordered it 2 years ago they arent getting an SL55. there is a 2 year waiting list on regular SL500s. people who have them now ordered them back in 2000.

I'll be getting to drive my brother's '02 M3 SMG in exactly 2 days!

He said he's just gotten past the 1200 mile break-in so it's ready to be put to the test, whcih means I get to drive it really fast!

(This is from when he took delivery of it at the BMW factory in Spartanburg, SC last month.)

from what i hear....even if you had that car in stick...you would get killed by the automatic because its mission is so efficient

even if the auto was faster than a stick, the thing i didn't like was the slowness in the downshifts. i would punch it but it would take a while for it to recognize that it needed to change gears. that is all.

Thats not true. People told me that the waiting list for E46 M3s is about a year. My friend ordered his in February and got it early May. You just gotta know who to talk to

Where do you live and is the dealer small. Thats the only factor I can think of. I know for a fact that it wouldnt take till 2004 to get a new around here (chicago).

my uncle got his from Euro Motors in Rockville, MD and my friend's dad ordered his from HBL in Tysons Corner, VA. probably 2 of the largest Mercedes dealers in the country. although, i think my friend's dad ordered it in the fall of last year and is getting it in the fall of 2003.

Is that a c1 or c5 b series? either way thats quite a bit of power for a hatch. i raced a civic non-hatch with a b18c1 and he barely pulled on me, but i did have a 250lb friend with me, and he was alone.

Its a JDM b18c. Plain "C" no number after. Supposed to have 10 more HP than the c1. Higher compression, 10.6 to 1.

there's no "surprise" about it. its just a nice experience to drive something faster than what you normally drive.
