X drilled/Slotted rotors question

I just got my shipment from pmp designs. Do these rotors have to be resurfaced? and TWO can I change the rotors and leave the brakes? Also is there a write up of how to install/change someplace?or anything specific I need to know. Also a right up on how to install spark plugs would be appreciated also if anyone has the link.

No don't resurface the rotors before you put them on. As far as I know you don't really want to resurface slotted rotors until you absolutely have to because it will wear down the slots.
It's ok to reuse pads, but take it easy the first few hundred miles so that the pad can seat on the rotor.
Here's info on brakes:

Sorry, I don't have any "authoritative" answers for you.
I DO want to ask you how thickness measured across from one rotor disk to the other. (NOT the rotor diameter). I saw some Brembo rotors at a local shop the other day. Some disks looked much thicker than others so I guess they're less likely to warp.

Thx in advance!

DO NOT REUSE your old pads, you'll most likely screw your rotors. It's ok to put new pads on old rotors, but not used pads on new rotors. Buy some new ones, even OEM ones, but use new pads.

Lightly sand the pads to expose new pad surface, then use the old pads just like they were new. (Only with a little less beef)

This sometimes stops annoying high squeals as well by exposing new, unglazed pad surface to mate to the rotor.

Don't forget to clean off the new rotors with an aerosol brake cleaner. New rotors usually have a film of grease on them to prevent rust.
