NOS users - what brand gauges do you use?
NOS users - what brand gauges do you use?
I am getting ready to install my kit. I have been searching for gauges and wanted to find out who makes good gauges for Nitrous Pressure, Fuel Pressure, EGT etc.
Could you let me know what you use and where you got them?
I have checked Autometer, NOS, Summit Racing. Blitz etc.
Any help is appreciated!

I just used autometer, but apexi is nice since they have warning lights, and you can set the EGT to cut off the nitrous if you go over a user adjustable cutoff point. They also have playback on them. Expensive but I think worth it.

Stick with Autometer.
1. Inexpensive.
2. Check out Nascar, NHRA..etc. Pay attention to the cockpit. They all use autometer.
3. Warranty. Autometer are made in the US. It's easier to get technical suppport, re-caliberation or repair. If you get a Japanae brand, good luck getting it repair.

1) Autometer fuel pressure (full sweep - it's a lot easier to read and tell exactly what fuel pressure you are getting which is important when tuning)
2) Autometer nitrous
3) Tomei A/F

I suggest full-sweep Autometer electric gauges, including their new #4374 nitrous oxide pressure gauge. Why pop the trunk, jump out of the car, and run around back to check N2O pressure when you can look at a nice gauge in the cockpit...? Bottle-mounted, mechanical gauges are cheaper, but you'll NEVER be sorry if you opt for the #4374.
I ordered my gauges through Summit Racing. I put a #4363 FP gauge and a #4365 EGT gauge in a dual pod on my A-pillar. (I had them wired so that the interior light dimmer switch controlled the light level on the gauges, too.) Sweet. I could make those gauges disappear at night if I wanted to...
The N2O pressure gauge is not yet available, but I had planned to put all my cockpit-mounted N2O system related stuff in my center console under the armrest, including the switches and the N2O pressure gauge. Stealth is good.
Good luck.

Thanks for the info, one other question...

Yes, on the EGT gauge you have to buy the probe separately. Summit stocks three probe models: good, better, best. I bought the "better" item. The "best" probe was for racing applications, so I thought a "better" model would be appropriate for my application. The Summit catalog was not explicit about the need to buy a separate probe for the gauge, but I think I remember seeing that stated on Autometer's website when I was researching my purchase... I was lucky, I guess.
The EGT isn't a bad idea but for people who are buying gauges when they install nitrous I would recommend getting what I got. Autometer 4364 Electric 0 to 100 psi fuel pressure gauge that comes with the control box and sending unit. It's expensive but IHRA / NHRA legal since you don't have to run a fuel line inside the vehicle. And Autometer 4375 Stochimetric gauge that you can connect to the factory O2 sensor (before the precats). This thing give readings FAST and I have found it to be a GREAT tuning tool on a Nitrous car. Those are just the part numbers on the Ultra Lite gauges that I used. They kinda matched my silver gauges in the Maxima. I also took off the face of the fuel pressure gauge and painted the needles counter weight black so it matches even more.
