Hey Guys.
I just rewired my parking lights this weekend. Everything is fine so far, but I was just curious if any of you guys changed any fuse after the rewire.

I rewired mine, and didn't have to change any fuses. The only that suck is that my bulbs don't match.

so I went up 5 on my fuse ,been running fine no for 3 mos.

 

I did mine about a month ago. After 10 minutes of driving, the fuse blew so I went back in a taped up the wiring some more and threw in a 15 amp fuse and no problems since. It is hard matching bulbs though, still havn't gotten it right.

 

Shouldnt need to if running no additional higher wattage lights (no side markers, no trailer lights). I have a mathematical explanation on this in the 4th gen FAQ.

 

what does rewiering your blinkers do ?

 

It makes them brighter. The bulb on the corner lights has two fillaments (spl?), kind of like your 9004 headlights. (The head light has one for the regular light, and one for the high beams) The corner lights only uses one all the time, and it uses the one less bright. You can rewire it to use the brighter one, or even both (but the brighter one is more than enough)

BTW: I don't think they should be called blinkers since they don't really blink unless you rewire them to do that.
