IS300 wheels or not?

I have someone is willing to sell me his Lexus IS300 wheels for $500. I've been told that I need to take them to a tire shop and have them bore out the lug holes so it will fit my blk 2000 max. That will run me another $100 total. The tires have an estimated 60% tread left. The tires are 215/45-17.

What are your opinion on this? Do you think it will look good on my max? What about the price?

go for it.. they are light weight.. and cheap .. great addition for any maxima.. however you should check www.maxima.org for the correct tire size to run with those rims..

If you enlarge the lug holes you will be in trouble. You need to enlarge the centerbore.

Do a search, there are pictures of them on a 5th gen.

Tires are way too small and the Lordrandall is right. Enlarge the lug holes? Who told you to do that?

I know how to use the search feature but what do I type in there to find other members who have IS300 wheels on their maxima's? I already tried typing in IS300 with no luck.

Man, you guys are good....thanks. I'm still up in the air about the way they look though. I think I'd like chrome rims best or at least thicker spokes...
