5 speed conversion parts....let me know if i got good price

ok, i found spot in pennsylvania selling assorted parts without trans and they said they will give it all to me for 300...here are the parts included:

1 clutch kit (clutch disc, pressure plate, throw out bearing)
2 shifting rods (support rod + control rod) (acquire used w/ all the hardware)
Return spring (connect to the 2 shifting rods (Buy this new, the stiffer the tighter your shifter feels)
1 5spd starter
1 shifter (Acquire used to get nuts and bolts (buy with the shifter rods)
1 shifter console piece (interior)
1 shift consul bracket (Replaces your auto one) (interior) (dealer name plate bolt and transaxle hole cover)
1 brake pedal
1 clutch pedal
Hydraulic lines for clutch
1 extra set of tranny harnesses (might come w/ 5spd tranny)
1 18ga wire and wiretaps
Assorted cotter pin set.
1 Manual Fly wheel
1 Manual motor mount
Locking pin and clip for the clutch pedal to the master cylinder (you could bend a nail but I would go to the dealer and pay $4)
2 nuts that fit the threads on the clutch pedal.
1 bolt that bolts in the top of the clutch pedal (the dealer can find it's size for you)
1 bolt that connects the control rod to the tranny (the dealer can find it's size for you)

first they said 100 cause they thought i was buying tranny but when i told them i wasn't they said it was too much work for 100 alone...if i pay 300 its still gonna be a better budget than i had before but would u guys do it? i searched long and hard and i'm ready to give up and just go for it....

What about axles, aren't they different from the a/t axles? Otherwise sounds like an O.K. deal if they pull all of the parts.

That is an excellent price for all of those parts, but I assume that the clutch, pressure plate, and throw out bearing is used. Be sure to buy a new kit. Just my flywheel and motor mount alone cost that much.

I'd get the ACT street disc for the clutch, other than that, seems like a good deal.

found better deal

someone selling me trans wit 47,000 miles, fly wheel, all pedals, shifting rods and shifter for 750 shipped....

i can get rest of pieces from this guy for hopefully 200 or less shipped...

i'm getting axles from raxles.com for close to 300

getting act clutch from stealth max at good price

and that's about it....i was going to spend 2500 for everything 3 weeks ago

but now its coming up to

750 trans
200 other parts
400 labor
120 cylinders, spring
350 act clutch
300 drive shaft (axles)

equals about 2000.... hoping i can get master cylinder, slave, and return spring new for about 100 to 120 shipped from maximaracer or tustin nissan.....

I don't think it's worth it IMHO. Is your auto toasted or are you just doing it for a change in scenery? I mean a dude got a used VQ in for $750 why spend 2 grand on a tranny? The math ain't addin' up.

The actual tranny is about 750 just likt the new VQ.

But than agian that's what seperates the enhusiast to the normal person.

My tranny isn't toast but I want a change in scenery.

$2k is with labor, LSD tranny, STS, and ACT clutch.

Worth it to me, and prolly mecca. We must love our cars.

Or wwe're just plain stupid, I dunno.
