Question regarding SFC's.......
I've heard of all the positive effects of having subframe connectors
but I was wondering if there could be any negative factors to
having SFC's installed on your car.
Thanks in advance guys

I've had them for a couple months now and I haven't noticed anything negative about them. Just a better handling, firmer feeling car. Actually, your tires may get worn faster once you get them on because you'll be able to throw the car through the turns at faster speeds.
That's the only thing I can think of.

I was the first member to have them on
I(92 SE) have the prodotyped ones on my car, so does thezcarguy(97 SE) I have not notice any negatives. All positive, and I still have stock suspension, except for wheels, and FSTB.

Had mine on since November, and I've already gone through a set of tires on the front.
Granted, I'm not the most mild-mannered driver on the road, but I'm wondering if the increased frame stiffness has thrown off the suspension geometry just a little bit in hard corners.
It could also be due to the Sus Tech front sway bars, but when I corner extremely hard, it's the front OUTSIDE tire that squeals, not the inside like before the SFCs. This is what's making me wonder what it's doing to the suspension geomerty in hard corners.
Other than that, there are NO ill-effects. drive like a sane person and you will have no problems. Only other gripe I've got is ground clearance. there wasn't much to begin with as 3rd gens sit lower than the others, then I've got Eibachs and a trunk full of stereo toys on top of that. I bottom out fairly often around here, but it's only in a few places that I routinely drive that I know the bumps are there. fairly easy to avoid in light traffic as I can go across at an angle- but in heavy traffic, there's not much you can do other than pull into the drive and get off the street.
