I want to trade my max in for a 95 mx6 and the blue book is higher on the max then on the mx6 so what dou you think the dealer will do?

 

So you are saying that the trade in value of the car is higher than the asking price of the dealer? Quite honestly, I doubt you will get blue book value for your max at any dealership. They hardly ever go for blue book value, usually a little under.

 

If you feel comfortable, you will probably get more money selling private party. Dealerships don't want to deal with used cars most of the time, so you will get a very lowball offer.

I've actually been offered $50 for a trade-in.
