The 2003 Maxima Looks Like The Rest!!!

who was the fool that showed pics of this funny looking space ship of a maxima some weeks back...i just checked http://www.maximadriven.com and the 2003 maxima looks pretty much the same as the 2002 maxima but has some titanium package and a FEW things that makes it better than 2002 but i'm happy that it looks this way instead of that ugly a$$ spaceship we saw pics of earlier....

255 hp like the 2k2...yup, the generation is going to start again with all same hp like 4th gens (except for 2k and 2k1 )

That space ship looking Maxima was probably the 2004 model. Your right though the new 2003 isn't any different really. I still think they should have boosted the power to at least 260, like the G35's engine.

You really can't see the TE wheels in those pics i though this tread included real photos of the TE Max. All i have seen at the dealership are Sheer silver 2003 not the TE 2003 max.

The "spaceship" is definitely the 6th gen Maxima. It's likely to be 2004 (could go as 2003.5 but probably not). And definitely will be US made.

Must be horrible being a mkt. mgr. on the Maxima. Your job would be to push the same thing year-in, year-out, and some do consider it ugly, and somehow figure out how to make it move off the lots without having to give thousands in rebates. Basically the dealerships, previous owners, and your boss are all probably breaking your stones because there isn't too much you can do to keep all the camps happy. I think when all is said and done, the rebates really do a good thing for people looking for transportation yet keeping the car indefinitely. As in the case of the 99's which had 2500 in rebates, that means senior citizens.

lol yea, i was thinking about maxima...lol....

man, on the realness, i don't see why anyone would buy the 2003....if its gonna look the same they definitely should have made it faster....heck, i would rather get a 92 max over 93 cause its same power same look but like a thousand less probably...same with 97 max over say a 98 or 99...same power, same look...few accessories but not really worth the extra thousand or so IMO....

if they really want to sell it, they definitely should have increased the power by a good 10 hp....hopefully the TE will be good enough to catch people's eyes.....otherwise, i would rather get the 2002 which looks same, same power but a great deal less cause its a year older...like i care

I'm looking for a 2003 because of the "limited" run of the model year! and also, for the resale value (the little there is ).
