i just started up an IRC chat for maxima enthusiasts =P

It is on Dalnet, usually i use liberty server to get on - you should be able to use anything
the name of the channel is #maxima

Long live the chat - ill be on it alot - if im not on it and you are - aim me at stillnmax

setup an username

tope this in the main window
/server liberty.dal.net 6669
after that
join channel #maxima

 

but nobody was home

 

for a technologically-impaired member.

I downloaded & installed mIRC.

Under IRC Server, I have: liberty.dal.net

Under Port(s), I have: 6669

Under Group, I have: #maxima

When attempting to connect, I receive: Unable to resolve IRC server

 

you can use any dalnet server
liberty went under some maintnece this morning
you can use
/server irc.dal.net
