which one is faster (0-60 and 1/4 mile), G35 (four door)or 330CI (two door) with sport package, both are auto?

 

Infiniti G35
0-60 mph 6.2 seconds
1/4 mile 14.8 seconds @ 95 mph
Don't know about bmw

 

The most recent edition of Road and Track tested 11 sport sedans including the 330 and the G35. The BMW they tested was a manual and the G35 was auto (stick isn't yet available) and the race was almost even. So I'd guess that the G35 would be a couple of tenths faster 0-60 and in the 1/4 mile that an auto 330.

R&T's results:

BMW 330 (stick)
0-60 - 6.1
1/4 - 14.7 @ 96.3 mph

Infiniti G35 (auto)
0-60 - 6.2
1/4 - 14.7 @ 95.2 mph

 

330Ci auto times vary from 6.6 to 6.9 sec. And the sport pkg doesn't play any role in 0-60 times.

 

Look at the trap speed of BMWs.. this shows weight isnt everything. Its trap speed is damn high for its power-weight ratio.. Nice car andy.
