Since xenon/HID colors vary among manufacturers, and since I own a Maxima I am looking to stay in the Nissan family when it comes to color, specifically the color of the HIDs of Infiniti and/or the 2k2 Max/Alti.

What brand of 9004 bulb would provide me with that particular color?

 

NONE - There is no 9004 bulb that will match the color and intensity of an HID system.

There are some nice 9004 bulbs out there, but don't expect to see HID style with them.

 

How about remotely close to HID?
I realize that to reach the intensity is nearly impossible.

I may have to jump into the archives on this...

 

I have heard that PIAA xtreme whites are pretty close. I may have a set lyin around somewhere, I will check and if I do i will take comparison pic of them vs. my 2k2 HID for ya.

 

Piaa SW are the closest i have seen to matching HID's.

Ant, the Xtremes are even closer. I just upgraded a month or two ago. They look nicer than the Platinums.

 

ive got the eurolite fusions in my car yeah im in a 5th gen but there damn close the the hid in the 2k2 maxes me and a friend were comparing last night also there normal watt bulbs mine are 55/65 with an output of 100/110 ive had them almost a year and never blown a bulb now with the piaas ive blow quite a few of them also the light output on the ground with the eurolites is alot brighter than the piaas IMHO hope that helps
