Maxima's are really light and our engines are all aluminum (VQ, aluminum block and heads) so we have nice punch. The ONLY thing I hate about us is that we are FWD. Your supra will get so much farther on mods simply becuase of the drivetrain...the Maxima is a wolf in sheeps clothing.

BTW, almostki, I sent you a private message.

yea that would be sweet... but not worth the money they want what 80-90k to motorex one over here? no way! think what you could do to your supra or the vette with that much cash... a stock z06 fully loaded is 52ish so like you have almost 30k to play with!!!!!

true.. but the vette u get a chevy interior i dont like vettes but thats my opinion, i like the idea of getting more power out of smaller engines(RB26dett, 2.6L revs to 8k rpms for an inline-6)
i would pay 80k for a skyline, no doubt.

actually the z06 gets a RECARO interior the whole thing was designed and handcrafted by them in each one... only vette i would ever buy.... hell the ONLY CHEVY!!!

as far as engines.... i like big and small... my truck has a mustang 302 with a hot cam and some other fun stuff... pushing 350 or so easy... lets just say i can light up my 35" tires and still beat down on most normal cars! hehe

and my bro has a sister truck with a 351m/400 pushing close to 450/550 and on his 33" will give my car a good run... i still win but he is only like a car length or so behind... and i am running about 14.9-15.0 or so....

then my bro's roommate just bought a wrx and we have having fun modding the **** out of that... and my 3.0 v6 is fun too but not many upgrades that don't include FI i prefer NA power... to me it is more real... though i still love turbo and S/C and i might do a custom one for my bro's truck... that would be INSANE we are thinking 750/900 should be easy! hehehe!!!

Sorry Craig. But maximas are NOT particularly light, the aluminum block/heads have nothing to do w/ the power and there are FWDs in the 12's, 11's, 10's, 9's. Although rwd would be better, WEIGHT is a drag racer's greatest enemy.

Well you didn't say maximas are LIGHTER. You just said they were light. When in fact they are not.

Of course no comment on the rest
