I don't understand how so many of ya'll rip on chrome, I dont get it. All those racing wheels to me 1) All look almost the same. 2) Are so dingy looking most of the time and take away so much from the max. and lastly the "bling bling" just looks badd ***; it's like wearing a nice shiny chain compared to a dull one. Im just suprized, Im mean there a alot, and I mean alot of weak looking chrome rims but the tight ones are the ****, just my 2cc's...

This is why you and I will never agree. I wearing any kind of chain is lame, shiny or dull.

The majority of Maxima drivers on the board, (if I may be so bold as to generalize) are interested in performance. Therefore, they choose lightweight 16" or 17" wheels. This decreases rolling intertia, unsprung weight, blah blah blah. Also, chrome wheels say "Steal me" or "Run me into a curb."

this is how it works for me whether it be jewelry or cosmetic crap on a car. im behind the steering wheel, i dont see the outside of my car, all this stuff is eye candy for other people, what do i get out of it? performance stuff for the car is stuff i feel and can enjoy.

I think those rims are really tight! Doesn't matter what all these people are saying, I think those rims look viscous. Sure they're heavy, but there are PLENTY of people on here that are all show no go, nothing wrong with wanting a nice-looking car. Not everyone wants to race, it's not a crime to have heavy chrome rims if you're just looking for a nice show car in the first place.

Gtr-rider those rims are terible, lol. Here is the problem I love the look of chrome and want 18's; however I still do want my car to be quite fast. Now I will be moding it atleast intake and exaust this year so that should more than make up for some heavyer wheels. What is the heavyest I should go before it realy makes a difference?

the Impellers are tight, i like the barbs too. anyway, rims are just like altezzas, they go one way or the other. some like the show, some like the go. its your car so who cares what other people think. they aint driving your ride so shake dem haters off

you have to remember that on this forum if you dont have 10-lb alloys, your wheels are ugly/gay/ghetto and you're trying to be like a rapper..i've learned to ignore it and laugh

What kind of names are those, the impeller, amp, and barb? I would hope you wouldn't put those on a Max, but to each his own.
