Just installed Tripple air horns - PICS
Just installed Tripple air horns - PICS
heres the horns. had to remove the wiper fluid funnel thing and also remounted the stock horn behind the headlight so that I can mount the compressor on the bracket the stock horn used to be on. It took me a few hours messing with it just to get a perfect place to mount them and also making the install clean as possible.

I went to put some air horns, byt ended up returning them, because they sucked. it was a dual set-up. I rigged it to the stock connctor, so it worked with the steering wheel button.
a sound file would be sweet.

95emeraldgxe: well, not really like a 18 wheeler, its not as low but its really loud I can tell u that.
Im going to try to get a sound file but I dont have a way to record it unless I try to use my computer mic but that might not work too well
I just installed th FIAMM brand (sound like a Ferrari) dual horn kit. The usualy horns are short and narrow, so they sound higher pitched. There are sevaral air horn sound clips, just do a search. From what I've heard the FIAMM is louder than the Hella. I jsut installe dmine in the same place as the stock horns, I just angled them down slightly so the water will run out of em. I then hooked the compressor, behind the driver's side headlight where the white plastic battery box is hooked. I'll take pics and post em. I used the stock horn harness to trigger the horn, but ran new wires to everything else, using the relay that came with the horns. They are quite loud! When I take pics I'll also put up a sound clip.
