test pipe size?

should i get a test pipe that is 2.25 or 2.5 ?

Mine is 2.5 but so is the rest of my system. That is also the size of the stock cat inlet and outlet because that is what I used for a test pipe. Just put a 2.5" piece of exhaust pipe right through the center, just make sure it is expanded slightly on either end and it won't move.

BTW I only use this at the track, I have a Hi-Flo cat for the street thats why I wrecked the original.

My y-pipe is 2.5" and my catback is 2.25". I just got a 2.5" test pipe. I doubt that its the greatest combo for performance, but its good enough. I think warpspeed could make a "reducer" pipe, or whatever its called. I didn't think to ask how much that would have been though.

y pipes are 2.5 .. the stock b pipe is 2.25..

any muffler shop can compenste.. so get the 2.5
