I think Mardigrasmax deserves MOTM too. Sure his car isn't the best looking...lol, but it's FAST. Plus, he has helped out a lot people on this board including me of course. And now, he's even set up a group deal for the Safeguard system because he want to help out fellow members. Anyway, if he doesn't get it this month, I think he SHOULD get it soon. My .02

This goes back to my saying that we should start having "Members of the Month" so that people that the people that have accomplished great achievement could get recognition.

 

I think that the MOTM idea is a good thing and it should stay.

I also think that Deezo is on the right track with his idea of promoting members who achieve great things for the benefit of the Maxima community as a whole. How about some sort of current events/recent achievements section on the .org's home page? The .org could profile certain members and the things that they have recently accomplished, such as iansw's and Mr. Cranman's MEVI sales or Greg's (CustomMaxima) car that is soon (??) to be unveiled. I'm sure there are many more examples out there. It doesn't have to be too complicated or involved, just some general info with a pic or two would be enough. Maybe include a link to another page that has more detailed info on it?

This of course would require more work by the residing authorities here, but I think it would be a neat way to promote the .org in general. I just like how Cheston updates his MaximaDriver page with dated entries so that you can easily check to see if there is anything new going on...maybe we could have something that went along the same format as that?
