All the service guys check out my car everytime I bring it in. The sales people could care less (probably the "damn 16 year old riceboys" attitude), but the service guys think its cool that I represent Nissan (very few in our area) especailly since they're right next to a Honda dealership. One time I went in because of a little clanking noise and 6 mechanics came out to see my car. I don't even think they were listening for the sound but looking at my engine bay. But they're always helpful.

cool man now you see how I feel every time I go to the dealer every time....I left my car there overnight for some service and the owner personally thanks me for helping attract "visiors"
he said people where stopping by to see you car he told now that's whatt I call a Maxima....

it's just something about these cars man....way to rep the Nissan Maxima...

That's cool Jeff. If you think that's cool, just imagine if you had a SC. When I had my SC, I brought my car in to the dealer a few times, even though I was there just to get parts. When I came out, there were several of the service men around my car. I shown one of them the SC when I was pumping gas nearby and I guess he went back told everyone. All of them were giving me props for the car. It was very nice.

yea, lol, i was catching eyes when my biggest mod was a rear sway bar...i remember once i was walking with sales person to my car and he's like "that's yours?!" and i just had a big grin on my face and i was surprised that he saw my RSB and actually knew what it was...after the stories i heard on this board, i thought all nissan dealers were idiots....

dam, i know that red max caught eyes there...everyone thinking "hmm, i should buy a maxima for my father...so roomy, so quiet....not TOO expensive"...then WHAMMO! they see yours and like, "so this is how it looks hooked up eh? CHING CHING!"

they should give you some cash to keep your car in front of the dealership....i bet you they'll get more people coming in for maxima's

I think i've been to 3 diff dealships for one thing or another and I always get into a long conversation about stillen superchargers installed with everything else stock, and then the car blows up and they're confused.

Lol...here's my dealership story...

So I take my car in because they're gonna give me a "free 90 point inspection" and blah blah. My mom pretty much forces me to do so.

I'm driving into the service area and I see this little dorky runt guy's eyes light up. He's apparently the little driver/gopher boy.

When I drive up he literally circles my car...

Brushes his hands across the front fender and whispers to himself "aaaahh SE". He then spent a moment of silence with it.

LMAO it was like some corny scene out of Dirtbike Kid (who remembers that movie?) when the kid finally gets the dirtbike of his dream. I was dying laughing

I hardly ever go to my infiniti dealer, they are over priced as$holes. There is a nissan dealer closer to me, they all ask me Q's about my car and my cefiro parts.

Next time they ask, just tell them you put a crap load of bricks in the trunk and engine compartment. Then when they ask to see, just tell them you had to weld the trunk and hood shut because they were flying open cause the car is so fast now.
