I am trying to get rims with mounted tires shipped from florida to Connecticut and.

Think I am getting ripped off with shipping costs. They are 15 inch wheels and the person wants $120 for shipping. I think this sounds high. What has people payed for shipping on there wheels for there maxima?

I paid $100 and that is about average. $25 per box, one wheel/tire per box. 4*$25=$100

I would imagine that's pretty accurate seeing that it cost around $80 to ship with tire rack.

True, and if you wanted 2nd day it'd be about $120 or so.

Saves on size with UPS if you tape cardboard to the face of the rims and wrap around the back of the tire and into the inside of the wheel and address label goes on cardboard. Should not be more than $25...depending on size.
