Will do... It'll be the plain vanilla format as my Wilwood Front Brake and Rear Brake write page, though.

Well... went out to test it...

My factory tach must be off... I didn't get the 6.2K pill to light up the light... thought I messed up... put back in the 3K pill and it worked... I put in the 6K pill and it lights up at 6200-6300rpm...

Anyone have similar observations with factory tach accuracy?

Also found out my factory clutch is just about gone (@46,000)... started losing it in 3rd at 5600rpm... well, must next project will have to be the ACT sitting in my room.

I use a Harlan Rpm Switch with my custom LEDs, but 6200rpm works for me. It's pretty close to the rev limiter though so you have to shift quickly. The factory tach reads high I believe, and it's the most inaccurate in 1st gear. Try playing with it in 2nd to get better results, and in 3rd the tach is a lot better at keeping up. I have my shiftlight set at 6200 and I think it's great. I'll take some pictures and post them in a few days.

Yes the tach is off. With my RSM set at 6200, it doesnt flash until I hit around 6500rmps.

Hi Malik,

Nah, didn't get a chance to go anywhere this weekend.

I'll write up the page as "95-98 dashlight/shiftlight" installation page. I have pics of the back of the instrument cluster and the wiring of the Autometer RPM activated switch.

Actually yes I do too. I have the regular sized Autometer light, and with the 6k pill it lights up at around 63oo. I asked the local shop I bought it from and was told that if I changed to the LED light option it would be quicker. I'm just going to buy the 58oo pill and be done wit thit...

The quicklite is a LED light, though... oh well.
Get the 5500-6500 (thereabouts) set... they don't sell each individually...

Yes, unfortunately...

just found out that it'll cost me about $310 (including flywheel resurfacing) from my mechanic. I'm gonna check with the dealer cuz it sounds like it would cost almost the same.
