I did a search but none of them led to anything solid....

Does anyone know what the maximum potential of the VQ is without any internal modifications?

 

around 400hp tops, if it's tuned right, 350 is more likely. this is for a VQ30 though. i'm sure teh VQ35's will take 400hp like a champ.

 

yeah my guess is about 400 as well, but thats in absolute perfect tuning conditions. but i wouldt go anymore then 10psi on the S/C w/o gettin custom made pullies, the stock ones will melt right off. and as for a turbo, i dont think thers is much room in the engine bay for a turbo on a 5th gen w/o reconfiging were everthing goes and custom made everything. its gonna cost too much, id rather buty a new Z06 vette, stock its got more power then most any max, and will smoke most any max, except only a few.
