quick question- Polarity of cig lighter

quick question- Polarity of cig lighter

Im just confirming this before I start wiring- is the polarity of the cigarette lighter (+) in the middle terminal and (-) for the outside contacts?

What are the chances that wire colors might give you a hint?

Ground = solid black, or black with white/yellow stripe? Typical wiring terminology.

I was looking at my multi-outlet plug which are both the same color. Yea I should have known better though.

Maksim2000- Im making a remote for all my stuff like foglights,neons,rocket launcher and all that. heres a pic if it so far

Hmmm... for some reason I don't think the Feds would approve of you driving around with a rocket launcher, these days... but hey, if that mod doesn't work out for you... try upgrading to a Maverick Missle launcher.

who needs approval? nah its mainly for controlling all my lights....the launcher is for home use

Have you seen that guy's website with his RX-7 & two rocket launchers attached to the front of his car?... That dude was crazy! Had all kinds of other weird mods on it also...
