Anyone interested in a chrome version of Place Racing CAI??

Had this crazy idea to offer the Place Racing Cold Air Intake Tubes in chrome. The current most popular color is silver which looks no where as nice as chrome. We got one chromed below at a cost of $100. Would any of you be interested in purchasing the kits with chrome tubes rather then silver paint on them?? The price will most likely be lower if we can work out a deal with the platers. They are first polished to a shine then dipped in chrome.

By the way the ones shown below are for sale, make me an offer, it is just for the two pieces shown below not the entire kit.
Thanks,

Re: Anyone interested in a chrome version of Place Racing CAI??
I think this would look very nice in an engine bay with polished valve cover and intake manifold. hmm....a deal would definately be nice with the chrome guys....315 for a CAI....i don't know...there's always someone who would buy it, but a lower price would be nice. It's definately something for people who have a theme going in their engine bay. How scratch resistant would the chrome be? just curious. But, hey, it's an idea that deserves attention. I like how my silver CAI looks with my sterling mist, so I'm satisfied. But, anything with that kind of growl should be one of the first things done to a car... : )

Point: It's a good idea. See if you can get a group deal going to start it off. My .02.

where is my freakin short shifter kit? i ordered it 5/15 it's still not here!!! 7/3!!! you did this with my greddy exhaust i tried to order last fall!! you took it from the credit card, so i EXPECT the shifter to be here. stop trying to sell chrome tubes and settle with your customers first. i called your place 3 times. same confused answer.

yea, but you expect some kind of an answer when the secretary takes your name, email, and phone number 4 times now. i have no luck with greddy and pacesetter. instead of taking my order both times, they should have told me straight up. i'm pretty patient, i just want confirmation that it will arrive soon.

Perhaps it's an answering service and most answering services do just that: answer phone calls. They do not represent the companies they offer their services to.

Cut the man some slack.

Not sure how much the cost of the tube itself was, I figure it was about $30-$50 and then the chroming was $100. So my cost was $130-$150, I will let it go for $100 shipped. Brand new never used.
