Problem: Blinker/side marker light rewire. Blew fuse, need help

How was that for a specific subject line
here is what i did.
1. Took blinker/side marker light off car
2. cut the ground off the Side marker light and connected that to the
(+) of the blinker light.
Problem starts here:
I took the ground coming from the car, instead of (what is correct) to take the ground wire from the side marker light and splice that to the (+) blinker wire

Now, to make the corrections. I am not sure what fuses fix the lights, but this is what state i'm in now
1. Headlights come on, corner/clearance light comes on.
2. foglights come on (rewired them to come on with headlights)
3. Side marker light comes on with headlights
4. BLINKER LIGHTS DO NOT WORK--where is this fuse?
-i put on my emergency flasher, nothing, turn the ignition on and turn on blinker, nothing....
