I have all Christmas break to paint them so I am going to do it myself and take my time. But I need to know the best paint to get for this and any advice on this procedure would be helpful. I have heard to take the lights apart you have to heat the glue up and pull them apart. Is this right?

I painted mine with permanent red taillight paint. You can email jtypehobby@aol.com and tell them you're interested in ordering the red taillight paint.

Yeah, Danny, I know he has been modding for 75 years and will just paint over the outside right? NO thanks, I think I will do it myself versus send it to someone that bought a Venom 400 perfomance chip....
