I'm new here -- just got a few ?

What's up ya all?

I just got a 1996 Maxima GEL GOLD with a whole bunch of things, saddly it's automatic but it's still powerfull ain't?

anyways, I just ordered CLEAR EURO signals lights as my first ever mode, I just got the car YESTERDAY so, I was wondering, I had a SENTRA once but only had it for like 6 months then gave it to my sis, anway my question is, where can I find bodykits for it? I wanna take the SEDAN look of it and make it sporty. What's the MAX size of RIMS you can put on? 19? 18? or 17? and been automatic should I even care to make it a bad *** killer on the streets or should I just change the looks?

Thanks for whoever answers and again I'm NEW so, pardon me if I asked anything stupid to your knowledge

Welcome to the boards!

First, everyone comes in and on their first post asks something thats covered in the FAQ. You did. Most people are just gonna read and ignore. But since your new here, I'll help you out.

For one thing, go check out the 4th Generation forum and read the FAQ thread at the top of the page (that will help you tons) and then read the site FAQ. Also find the search button and use it well (top right corner, kinda small).

Stillen makes a nice body kit for the Max. And the rim question most people stick in the 17-18 range, but I've heard of bigger.

I hope you have a great time here at the org!

There are a few things you can do to your max as far as body kits are concerned. There is a Stillen kit which I have you can check out pics on my homepage. There is also a Razo kit which can be found on a yahoo search. There is a Sorona kit which I wish I did first but when I did my kit the Sorona wasnt out yet. That can be found at www.sarona.com. There is also another kit which is pretty fugly called the Eribuni kit which is on www.wingswest.com or http://www.erebunicorp.com/. The Sorona kit I think looks the best which I wish I did but oh well followed by the Stillen kit which almost every max has .

As far as rims go I would go with a set of 18's if I was you since 17's looks a little too small and 19's may rub.

hope this helps.

Jay
